This paper examines the philosophical perspective on sport, climate change, and the natural environment. The author considers the ethical dilemma of how major sport events can be demonstrative of the benefits of good environmental management by sport while remaining simultanously environmentally destructive by the nature of what these events are. Poses the question of whether Iarge-scale international sport events and tours are morally acceptable given the negative climatological impacts they must bring with them.
